About me

I took my first steps towards the world of fitness while I was studying at a grammar school (I was about 17 years old), when I started going regularly to the local gym in Vršovice in Prague. It was a “classic barbell gym” full of sweaty enthusiasts, where women rarely went. The main goal at that time was to “lift as much as possible” so that you wouldn’t be too shameful there. There is no need to guess too long this type of exercise was still quite a long way from healthy exercise …

Another key breakpoint was when I started working for Prague’s luxury fitness and wellness center World Class Health Academy in 2007, during my studies at Charles University. I practiced sales and marketing at sports fairs and other events. At that time it was a great experience for me: to get among people, communicate with them and try to give them advice and help. From there it was only a small step to work as a personal trainer and to help people reach their goals …

Since then I have become much more interested in fitness, I finished Petr Tlapák – Tonus school and passed the exam for an international certificate of Fitness trainer. Thanks to the work of a coach, I realised what I really enjoy – exercise and work with people. I became much more interested in the health aspects of exercise, healthy nutrition and lifestyle … which I have remained till this day. I follow with interest current trends and new possibilities in the field of fitness and well-being.

This was followed by a long process of training and self-education, which already includes dozens of education and certificates, as well as experience in retail, marketing, leading a team of people on couple of projects, and the most important: working on myself. Nowadays I cooperate and learn from other professional trainers, runners, physiotherapists, podologist etc. And I take this experience as extremely valuable and beneficial. Thanks to them I can better understand and advise people’s individual needs and problems. I learned that empathy, communication and personal attitude and understanding are a necessary condition for mutual satisfaction.

I cannot imagine life without sport and movement. It has been a natural part of life for me from an early age. In addition to functional fitness and calisthenics I enjoy a variety of sports – mostly trail running (especially sky running), cycling, yoga, hiking, skiing or playing tennis. Apart from sports, I like traveling around the world, taking pictures (I love nature), reading and listening to interesting and inspiring podcasts.
